2020 Annual Meeting Cancelled due to Coronavirus
Because of the uncertainty at this moment, the Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel this year's annual meeting, typically held the Saturday of Memorial Weekend. See the annual letter coming to your mailbox the end of April and stay tuned through website/email communication if anything changes.
2020 Boat Parade Recap
This year's theme was Candy. Congratulations to the Denhofs on the south side of the lake. They are this years boat parade winner with the theme of Willy Wonka which included not only great decorations but also bubbles and lots of costumed participants. The Denhof family has earned the privilege of selecting next years theme, leading the parade and judging next years decorated boats.
We are happy to have several first time entrants in this year's boat parade including the Gentilozzi's (south side of lake) with the Peppermint Candy theme, the Lester's (north west side of the lake) with the Lifesaver theme, and the Moug's (east side of the lake) with their Willy Wonka theme.
And a big thank you to the Robinsons, last years winner, for selecting the theme, leading this years parade and acting as this years judges.
Although we didnt have a picnic this year due to Covid19, it looks like a lot of families were still able to enjoy a beautiful day on the lake.We look forward to having the annual picnic next year along with the boat parade and meet the many new neighbors we have on the lake.Stay safe and healthy.
2019 Picnic Recap: The overcast skies didn't keep anyone away from the "1969" themed boat parade and picnic. Possibly a bigger attendance than last year. Only six hot dogs left after everyone went through the line for lunch. We welcomed several new neighbors to the lake this year and welcomed their participation in the boat parade.
This year's winner was the Robinson's, specifically recognized for the creative handmade Woodstock raincoat, along with the other 1969 outfits the group was wearing. They will select the theme and judge for next year's boat parade.
Thank you to several neighbors who volunteered again this year to make this annual event a success. The Robinson family for cooking and serving. Cantrell's for buying food. Nagles for cooking and serving along with organizing the water balloon toss. Mergel's for the Piñata. Hubbs Grimm for the Limbo contest. Lesters for the buried treasure kids activity and Frank and Eileen Sanders for the welcome table. There were many other volunteers behind the tables helping setup, serve food, providing their grills and garbage cans, cutting cake, and cleaning up. We thank you.
